Defensive Player of the Week
Jamar Brown
Kansas City

Summit League fans are well aware of what Jamar Brown can do on the offensive end of the floor. They are starting to notice what the Kansas City guard can do on the defensive end of the floor. One of the best offensive rebounders in NCAA basketball (which we at Reaching the Summit consider a defensive stat) Brown also is a top-notch on-the-ball defender. For the week, Brown averaged 2 steals per game and also added 3.5 offensive rebounds per game.
