Forward Francis Lacis Oral Roberts

Lacis won a close battle with Rocky Kreuser of North Dakota State. Lacis played one less game than Kreuser but it was an impressive game. In a win vs UT Arlington, Lacis had the following stat line. 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks.

Guard KJ Hunt Denver

Hunt continues his impressive season for the Pioneers. In a win over UC San Diego Hunt’s stat line was 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Hunt is a huge reason why things look up for the Pioneers this season.

For the first time this season, a player breaks up the South Dakota State hold on the Sophomore of the week. In a pair of games, Tsartsidze averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Guard Paul Bruns North Dakota

Bruns is the first back-to-back winner of the Freshmen of the week. He is quickly becoming one of the if not the most dangerous offensive weapons for the Fighting Hawks. Bruns averaged 18 pts, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists this week.

Defensive Player of the Week

Forward Francis Lacis Oral Roberts

Lacis has made a habit of getting his hands on the ball on the defensive end this season. This has allowed him to become the first two-time winner of the defensive player of the week. Against UT Arlington Lacis got 4 steals, 3 blocks, and grabbed an offensive rebound. Lacis continues to be a constantly active player for the Golden Eagles.
