1. South Dakota (7 first-place votes). The Yotes hold Jackrabbit players below double figure scoring, which hasn’t happened to SDSU since 2014, in a dominating defensive performance as they defeat their in-state rival 65-42 in their only game last week. Last Week: 1
2. South Dakota State. SDSU had balanced scoring once again, the points just weren’t high enough to defeat USD. Just one of those games unfortunately. Look for the Jackrabbits to bounce back this upcoming week. Last Week 2
3. Western Illinois. No games for the Leathernecks last week. They hold steady at 3 Last Week: 3
4. St. Thomas. No games for the Tommies last week, they hold steady at 4. Last week: 4
5. Kansas City. No games for the Roos, but they jump up a spot this week. Last Week: 6
6. North Dakota State. The Bison split a pair of home games, defeating Denver 74-68 and falling to Omaha 54-68. Last Week: 5
7. North Dakota. A pair of home victories propel UND from 10 to 7 this week as the F’n Hawks defeated Omaha 71-57 and Denver 80-75. Last Week: 10
8. Omaha. Omaha’s North Dakota tour finished with a 1-1 record as the Mavericks lost to North Dakota 57-71 and defeated the Bison 68-54. Last week: 9
9. Oral Roberts. No games for ORU last week, but UND and Omaha picking up impressive wins assists in the fall for the Golden Eagles in our Power Rankings this week.. Last week: 7
10. Denver. Denver is glad to be out of North Dakota as they drop two close games in the lesser Dakota 😉. They lose to NDSU 68-74 and UND 75-80 Last week: 8
