There’s often a lot of debate amongst our Reaching the Summit crew on who should be the player of the week. Then sometimes a player has a week that makes them a no-brainer. Morgan had one of those types of weeks. Morgan averaged a double-double for the week, averaging 18 points, and 11.5 rebounds.

Defensive Player of the Week
G Shemarri Allen

After being edged out for the defensive player of the week award last week, Allen was able to capture the award this week. So that gives Allen a senior of the week and defensive player of the week award in the first two weeks of the season. Last week Allen was able to average 4 steals a game and is one of the nation’s steals leaders.
