Well, we have reached the final game of the season for UND and it is their senior day. Today, the men will honor Brady Danielson, Caleb Nero, and Mitchell Sueker.
Brady Danielson
Danielson was apart of Sather’s first recruiting class at UND and he was the definition of giving 100% every single time he was on the court. He certainly had his moments his freshman year, especially during the USD game at the Denny. Where he really started to come into his down was the 2nd half of his junior year, where he was a bright spot in a rough season. This year, he really has put it all together on both ends of the floor. He has really found his shot from 3, not afraid to mix it up rebounding the basketball, and drawing charges like on other.
Caleb Nero
Nero transferred over from Weber State and during the 20-21 season had had a solid first season, averaging 8.7 ppg and was very good at the free throw line. He also was off to a great start in his 2nd season at UND, including an impressive performance against Montana, where he took the game over and hit the winning shot. However, like Sueker, he suffered an injury that affect his play for the rest of the season. At the time of the injury, he was averaging 12.1 ppg, similar to watch Sueker was doing. While this year hasn’t gone the way he would have liked, he still had some big moments for UND during the Thanskgiving Tournament, being one of the bigger reasons why UND was able to win both of those games.
Mitchell Sueker
Sueker was a rare 2 year grad transfer from SD School of Mines and made a solid impact during his first season at UND, acting as Rebraca’s running mate down low. He averaged 7.7 points and 4 rebounds during the 2020-2021 season. His 2nd season at UND was off to a roaring start, averaging 12 points a game before suffering a injury that bascially derailed the rest of his season. He decided to run it back one more year and while it might not have gone as well as he would have wanted, he always took advantage of every moment he stepped onto the court.
We thank Brady, Caleb, and Mitchell for everything that you have done for the program! Lets send you out winners!
